The campground in 2008 will allow some campers to rent 4 pontoon boats.  This will be completely in the discretion of the campground and will depend on boater experience and river levels.  Three boats have 25 hp 4 stroke motors which are very slow when returning to the campground in a northerly direction.  All boats must go south of the campgrounds and must allocate sufficient time to get back to the campground prior to dark.  Boats may be rented for the weekend only at the start of the season.
