The campgrounds are located in the Rock River flood plain.  Each camper is responsible to check river levels prior to camping to determine the risk of flooding for the period they will be camping.  The Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service AHPS, provides river level tracking and river level predictions for specific locations along the Rock River to allow the camper to review river level data, and make a determination whether their camping experience will be safe and will not be disrupted by flooding.
